The medical devices for irradiation sterilization are mainly disposable medical devices and medical packaging materials, such as surgical gloves & gown, etc. For these products, irradiation sterilization is gradually taking place of traditional methods such as steaming, high temperature& pressure sterilization and ETO. It is widely applied to medical devices for the following advantages:

(2) as a “cold process”, radiation sterilization needs no heating
(3) without unpacking, the products can be easily and continually processed.
(4) sterilized products will be preserved for a long time in airproof state.
